Shows to look forward to this month

With the world getting back to normal, there is an overload of new shows and movies that are being released after being halted due to the pandemic. With content coming from everywhere, how do you choose what is worth watching? There are 100’s of options to choose from but here are 3 that I think you definitely don't want to miss.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

The new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is definitely one to watch. Based on the Shang Chi comics it is a go to watch for die-hard marvel fans and casual friends alike. With a star studded cast featuring Simu Liu, Michelle Yeoh, Awkwafina and Ben Kingsley, they tell the story of Shang Chi, a master is kung fu as he is pulled back from his life to confront his past that he left behind and the Ten Rings Organsation that is drawing him in.

Vigil

When the BBC releases a new drama you know it is going to be worth the watch. Vigil follows DCI Silver (Suranne Jones) as she attempts to discover the truth behind the conspiracy of the death of a sailor on the HMS Vigil. This cast is packed to the brim with British talent. This show is one not to miss, its plot will leave you on the edge of your seat trying to put the pieces together whilst you watch. New episodes are released weekly so you can deduct in the meantime and discover the killer. Vigil is perfect for fans of Broadchurch and anyone who enjoys murder mystery.

American Horror Stories

Ryan Murphy is back with this cinematic horror spectacle. American Horror Stories is an anthology series consisting of individual 30 minute horror stories. Each episode is bound to terrify as much as the others. As a spin off to American Horror Story, it promises to enthrall your mind as much as the main series. This is not one to watch for the faint hearted, if you like a little bump in the night or the macabre and creepy, this is a show for you.
